Sweet.  the doors are cured, and it’s time to trim the excess off the edges, and around the window perimeters.  after that, we decided to give fitting the door to the fuselage a try...  I think Deems (the super awesome) wrote about a way to fit the doors that has you bolt the door to the hinges (you gotta trim the upper edge of the doors first) then work your way down the door sanding and fitting.  it’s pretty cool, cause you just lower the door, figure out where to sand, raise it up, and sand, then fit again.  and again.  and again.  and again.  and againand again again agagin gangianga ginagnag.   you see where this is going.  harrumph.  could be worse.  could be raining...  anyhow, after that, just drill a couple holes for the gas strut attach brackets.  I didn’t want to get too far ahead of myself though...  i got the doors fit pretty good, but not perfect.  I want to wait til the canopy is permanently attached before I finalize the fit.
