Now it's time to cut the stiffeners. not that big of a deal, just measure, cut, then cut the edges at a 45 degree angle.


I got this idea from Tim Olson. Instead of getting sawhorses, i just screwed a couple 2x6s to the top of one of my benches. This is where it really seems like you're building a plane.


When  I start considering that the tailcone might be getting too heavy for how i'm holding it up,  physics provides the easy answer. Put something heavy on the bench.  Rocket science.


Then it's time to flip it over and put the other skin on. That's exciting, because the skins have been sitting in the bedroom for awhile, and they're big and cumbersome.


Wow. it's late, and we're tired. Nice to see so much progress though.
